Memorial Biography

Wakeeta Lee Daniels Louis-Jeune, 35, of Harrisburg, unexpectedly transitioned into eternity on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Harrisburg. Inherently loving and extremely creative, Wakeeta was our Angel on Earth.

Affectionately known as “Keeta”, she was born in Harrisburg, PA daughter of Barry Jr. and Tina (Hoch) Daniels, a 2001 graduate of Harrisburg's Dauphin County Technical School, and received her Associates degree from Thompson Institute.

She was a State Certified Foster-mother (to many), a community stylist (hair, make up, and fashion), as well as a skilled Floral Designer.

Keeta was a member of Bridge of Faith International Ministries, Harrisburg. She touched the lives of so many young people (and families) through her work with the church and foster care system. Her creative work was her passion and personal ministry. She loved making people happy and did so via her creative work.

Wakeeta was preceded in death and joyfully greeted by her father, Barry A. Daniels, Jr.; her paternal grandparents, Barry Sr. and Frances (Roy) Daniels; her maternal grandfather, Paul Hoch and her nephew, Maliq A.P. Bailey.

She leaves to celebrate her life and her love, her daughters, Adrianna Harris and Monica Louis-Jeune; her mother, Tina (Hoch) Daniels; her siblings, Cheri (Prate), Barry Jr., Shareen (Ron), Karreem, and Frances (Darnell); her sister/cousin, Nicole; several Godchildren and a host of family and friends.

Her life will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Bridge of Faith International Ministries, 4425 Chambers Hill Rd, with viewing 10 until 11 a.m.
